Bell Foods Marine Food Division was established in 1968 with its corporate base in Cochin, Kerala , the hub of the Indian Seafood exporting industry is one of the pioneers in the field of Seafood exports. Bell Foods is one of the top seafood exporters in Kerala specialising in supplying Crabs, Cuttle Fish, Shrimp, Squids, Grouper Fish, Octopus and a range of processed seafood to countries worldwide.

Under the guidance of Sri. Vikraman Puthusseril and Sri. Viju Puthusseril - our Directors, Bell Foods has continued its growth strategy, investing on state of the art infrastructure and modern equipments to produce the best quality Seafood.

We have established fully integrated modern seafood processing plants, with state-of-art freezing & processing equipments like, IQF machines, blast freezers, plate freezers, flake ice plants, cooking machines, grading machines, peeling & de-skinning machines etc.

The Bell Foods processing plant is situated in the West Coast, just 3 Kms from the Sea-Port and 1 Km from the
fishing harbour. The plant has a production capacity of about 35 TPD and annual capacity of more than 7000 metric tons.
The East Coast factory has a production capacity of 25 TPD, annual capacity of more than 5000 metric tons. A wide transport network with a fleet of insulated vehicles is employed to collect raw materials from almost all Fish landing centers in India. The Bell Foods processing plant has a fully equipped quality assurance department with specialized technical staff.
Bell Foods procures raw materials directly from the fishing trawlers along various centres of coastal India. The raw material is washed at the centres, packed in insulated boxes with ice and transported in a fleet of insulated, refrigerated vans to the processing plants.

The company exports its products to numerous destinations all over the world. Each lot of products is analyzed for microbiological, chemical and organoleptic standards with CGMP, SSOP & HACCP based own check systems. For
production purposes 100 % potable water conforming to EU Standards is used. Added to these, there is a 1500 MT
integrated & Refrigerated Ware House facility. Little wonder then that the EEC approved BELL, a world-renowned
brand in Seafood has found ready acceptance in the majority of the EEC markets.
